This digital portfolio contains a small selection of my work, including projects as a GDD student and a professional working in my field.
If you have any questions about me or my projects, drop me a line!
Since graduating from UFV’s Graphic + Digital Design program in 2018, I’ve worked professionally as a Graphic Designer; designing and improving local businesses like Prospera Credit Union and GroupHEALTH Benefits Solutions (completing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialization by UC Davis in 2023 while working here!).
Before realizing Graphic Design was a career choice, I'd already acrewed interests in illustration, photography, hand crafts, and HTML—I believe my curiosity and adventurous nature lend well here too, because there is always a way to solve a design problem. I always wanted to be an "artist" when I grew up (trust me, my mom loves to brag about that), so when I learned I could use all my creative skills together—to improve the way people interacted with the world—I fell in love.
Specializing in brand development and web & SEO, I work with empathy and understanding of the end user—aiming to improve communication and user experience in positive ways.
I consider myself lucky to be able to something I love so much as my primary job, and am grateful for it every day I clock in.
Beyond my work, my interests range just as much. I'm a (mild) dino-nut, an empathetic and knowledgeable pet owner, binge-watcher, comfort food enthusiast, PC builder and video gamer, model-builder and sculpter, and excitable introvert with a love for BC's outdoors and wilderness.
I've been called "free-spirited"—I enjoy living in the present, to make the most of every minute of my day, and to make every day an adventure (I am an ISFP after all I suppose). Despite a little time-blindness, I manage to stay well-organized. I believe it's important to try new things when the opportunity presents itself—failing is a part of learning and should not be feared, and you can't ever spend "too much" time doing something you love.
...Just don't ask me to be your pop culture trivia partner.
